We talked to Gaspar Vega, a 28 year old Argentinean midfielder, who made his debut in his country. In 2019 he played for Rampla Juniors (Uruguay) and in early 2020 he left for Indonesia to play for Persik Kediri.
Despite only playing the first 3 games before the football stops for the pandemic, he managed to score a goal in his debut match. He is currently in Argentina, spending the quarantine in his native Córdoba before the football continues.

- His arrival in Southeast Asia.
- My arrival in Indonesia was through a Uruguayan company that approached me the proposal in mid-January and early February I made the decision to go.
- Reaction to the country.
- The truth is that the country in general surprised me for the better, what attracts you so much are the beautiful places it has to offer and the warmth of the people. Regarding the climate and the food it is very different from what you are used to, but I was able to adapt quickly thanks to God. A little more difficult was the language issue because they don't speak English, so the relationship with the people took a little longer but as there was a good predisposition they always made it easy for me.
The people at the club received me wonderfully, it's a big city that is behind the whole team and you can feel that.
- The treatment of the fans and the football objectives.
- Football is lived in a very intense way, they are many and very passionate, they are crazy about football like us. The idea is to try to play the best role both personally and collectively, to try to leave Persik Kediri as high as possible.

- Argentinian companionship and training during the quarantine.
- Mateos Bustos (player of Persian Tangerang) is a friend of more than 10 years (they shared youth and also faced their clubs in Argentina) and was one of the ones who convinced me to go, since he had made the same decision a month ago. With Brian Ferreira (player of Persela Lamongan), Elias Alderete (player of Arema FC) and Jonatan Bauman (player of Arema FC) I have a very good relationship and we talk very often.
Since the start of the quarantine I haven't stopped training, both in Indonesia and in Argentina. Luckily I can adapt and today, when it's a bit more free, I can work in free spaces.
We knew a little more about Gaspar Vega, we wish him all the best in his future and also personally, that he continues progressing in football and giving happiness to the spectators.
